Life is short and time never slows down. My favorite part of photography is being able to take photos that will make you feel like time is standing still. Having that moment captured to always look back on and that can be passed down to generations to come is what legacies are made of. During our shoots I like to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, make them feel confident and love the results. I want our time together to be raw with laughter and for us to get to know each other so I can capture your real and authentic selves through my lens.
Of course we will get THE shot first, but in those moments of kids running on the beach or building a sand castle, a shot of two people in love or a soon to be mother grasping her belly with a smile.. those are the moments in time I want to document for you. So blessed to get to meet so many people in this career of mine. I can’t wait to meet you!

Being a collector myself I know how each piece represents a memory of a place or time in ones life. With my family of varying personalities, to include our dog, it’s no different. We chose an idyllic setting - Ft. Fischer at sunset it was just gorgeous! When we arrived we were quickly met by a swarm (I kid you not in all of the years I’ve lived in the south I’ve never seen anything like it) of mosquitoes. Sam immediately gave directions and moved quickly as it was anything but idyllic at that point. We weren’t even there for a max of 10 minutes. Seemingly unimpressed we hoped something turned out! When the pictures came back the smiles and happiness and love were overwhelming to say the least - how did she manage to capture such raw emotion in spite of such an uncomfortable scenario? Pure talent.

over the last three years during our beach week. You accomplished the IMPOSSIBLE with 16 family members grandchildren ranging in age from 4-15. It was hastily assembled by our friends during a pandemic and after a ceremony watched online by loved ones but attended by only seven, including the bride and groom, but it was the best reception ever. And Sam captured it all. The laughter, the fun, the joy, the love. Plus all the little touches that our friends had thought of. The things that make you go “awww”. It was probably the hottest and most humid day of the summer but Sam quietly snapped away and made everyone look great. She was asked to photograph the event with short notice and she delivered her beautiful photos in short order. This year our daughter and her hubby have given us a grandson to celebrate and we’ve already lined Sam up for a family photo shoot with all of us in August
